AITAM National Cadet Corps(NCC)

The National Cadet Corps (NCC) at Aditya Institute of Technology and Management (AITAM) is an exemplary program that fosters discipline, leadership, and patriotism among students. It is led by Lieutenant T. Murali Mohan Rao, the dedicated Associate NCC Officer, who ensures the smooth functioning of the unit. His leadership has been instrumental in shaping the cadets into responsible citizens who are ready to serve the nation.

VishnuMurthy, a committed individual who plays a key role in managing the activities, events, and training sessions for the cadets. His organizational skills help in maintaining the rigorous standards expected of the NCC.

Additionally, the cadets are trained under the expert guidance of N.Bhujanga Rao, the Drill Instructor, who previously served in the Indian Army. His vast experience and military expertise provide the cadets with top-notch physical, drill & Weapon training, ensuring they are well-prepared for various NCC parades, camps, and competitions.

Together, this dedicated team at AITAM ensures that the NCC program not only prepares cadets for defense services but also instills in them values of discipline, unity, and service to the nation.

OBJECTIVES

The objectives of the National Cadet Corps (NCC) are aimed at developing the youth of India into disciplined and patriotic citizens with leadership qualities and a sense of responsibility. The main objectives include:

  1. Developing Leadership and Character: NCC aims to nurture leadership skills, confidence, and moral character in students, preparing them for future challenges.
  2. Instilling Discipline and Responsibility: The program emphasizes discipline and responsibility, encouraging cadets to become accountable individuals and effective team members.
  3. Fostering Patriotism and National Unity: NCC cultivates a spirit of patriotism and promotes unity among the cadets, emphasizing the importance of working together for the nation.
  4. Preparing Youth for Defense Services: By providing basic military training, NCC encourages students to consider a career in the Armed Forces, helping them understand the importance of defense and security.
  5. Promoting Physical Fitness: Through regular physical training, drills, and adventurous activities, NCC promotes health and fitness, ensuring that cadets are physically and mentally strong.
  6. Creating Awareness of Social Service: NCC encourages cadets to take part in community service and nation-building activities, fostering a sense of responsibility toward societal welfare.
  7. Fostering Leadership in Crisis Management: NCC trains cadets to respond effectively during natural disasters or emergencies, providing them with skills for disaster management and relief operations.
